Tour Itinerary

Following hotel pick up by your guide at 09:00 am from Udaipur City area start for City Palace of Udaipur. The Udaipur City Palace is not a singular historical edifice, but it’s a complex of several palaces in the Udaipur City, which lies in the desert state of Rajasthan. According to historical records, this palace complex was built over a period of 400 years, with several kings of the Maharana Udai Singh's dynasty, who all contributed to the growth of these buildings. Next proceed for Jagdish Temple which is a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple is one of the tourist attraction and a major monument in Udaipur, built by Maharana Jagat Singh Ist in 1651. It is raised on a tall terrace. The temple was originally called the temple of Jagannath Rai but is now called Jagdish ji.

Next you head to explore Lake Pichola. Pichola Lake is one of the most beautiful and picturesque lakes of Rajasthan located in the heart of the city, Pichola Lake is the oldest and one of the largest lakes of Udaipur. In 1362, the beautiful lake was built by Pichhu Banjara during the ruling period of Maharana Lakha.

After lunch at local restaurant by your own cost proceed to Lake Fatehsagar Udaipur. Fateh Sagar Lake is the second artificial lake of Udaipur, the first being Jaisamand lake. Located in the north of Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake lies just besides the entrance to Moti Magri Hill. Built in 1678 by Maharana Jai Singh. Then start for Garden of the Maidens (Sahelion Ki Bari). Sahelion ki Bari or the Garden of Maidens is one such interesting site. The beautiful garden, built primarily for the queen's maidens, is a standing landmark of a bygone era.

Visit Bagore Ki Haveli which is an old building build in front of the Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. It has more than 100 rooms with well-arranged balconies, terraces, courtyards and corridors. Among the many precious and unmatched articles, Bagore Ki Haveli contains the costumes of the royal king, premium mural paintings of Rajasthan designed in Mewar, exclusive stuff of Rajputs like jewellery boxes, dice-games, hukkas, pan boxes, nut crackers, hand fans, rose water sprinklers, copper vessels and other items of the erstwhile rulers.

Explore Sukhadia Circle Fountain. A popular spot amongst the dwellers of Udaipur is Sukhadia Circle. There is a white fountain surrounded by motifs and, is considered as the sign of prosperity. Its foundation was laid in 1968 and was opened in 1970. It was built in the memory of Mohan Lal Sukhadia, one-time chief minister of Rajasthan. This place is bliss for all the street food lovers. After visiting Monsoon Palace approximate 5 pm you'll arrive back at your hotel in Udaipur where the tour will end.
